Dua Associates has represented and assisted ‘Vedicare Ayurveda Private Limited’, manufacturers of European certified organic beauty and personal care products, under the brand name “Soul Tree”, in its transaction involving sale of 100% equity stake to Lotus Herbals Private Limited (Lotus), on a fully diluted basis. The transaction included preparation and finalization of ancillary arrangements such as Contract Manufacturing Bonus Agreement, Employment Agreement and Non-Compete Agreements.
The team comprising Sita Khosla Partner, Siddhartha Kumar, Partner, Nirvaan Gupta, Partner, Simran Singh, Principal Associate and Akshay Tandon, Associate represented Vedicare Ayurveda (VAPL) in the successful closure of the deal with Lotus Herbals, which was signed and closed on August 04, 2020.
