In line with this, Dua Associates’ Mumbai office has acted for Alliance Mall Developers Pvt Ltd which is in the Real Estate and Renting business, (a subsidiary of publicly listed Prozone Intu Properties Limited) in raising INR 900 million as debt funding from SWAMIH Investment Fund I – a special window created to provide priority debt financing for the completion of stalled affordable and mid-income housing projects.
Dua Associates’ team was led by Partners – Anish Ghoshal, Hetal Thakore and Agnes Baradia; Principal Associate – Rajat Agarwal; and Associate – Nirali Shah. The transaction involved drafting, negotiation and finalization of definitive agreements – Debenture Trust Deed, Escrow Agreement, Security Documents, etc.
