Dua Associates assisted Passion Gaming Private Limited, one of the leading online skill gaming companies in India, operating under the name ‘Rummy Passion’ in entering into Software Assignment Agreement and Restated Investment Agreement, for sale of stake share to UK based Stride Investment. The team led by Siddhartha Kumar, Sunil Malik, Punish Arora, Simran Singh & Akshay Tandon represented Passion Gaming in the successful negotiations and closure of the restated Investment agreement & software assignment agreement in June 2020.
The recent transaction was post Stride Gaming Ltd. (formerly known as Stride Gaming Plc.) an affiliate of Stride Investment having been acquired by The Rank Group Plc. Stride had acquired the 51% stake in Passion Gaming in November 2017, post which Stride Gaming Plc. was acquired by The Rank Group Plc, UK, No. 1 listed global operators, of leading international online gaming, leisure and entertainment group in October 2019.
