Bhaskar Mishra is an Advocate and Certified Mediator with over 25 years of experience, practicing primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate and commercial law, infrastructure, and dispute resolution.
Bhaskar has extensive experience advising clients on large-scale real estate transactions, including FDI in real estate and infrastructure, all types of title due diligence pertaining to various power projects, including solar and wind power projects at a pan-India level, private equity investments, and joint development arrangements.
He has, in the last couple of years, carried out due diligence and end-to-end transaction closure for several new and renewable power projects in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh cumulatively covering more than 25,000 acres. He regularly assists clients with structuring and documentation for mergers, demergers, joint ventures, and share purchase transactions, as well as compliance under FEMA and RBI guidelines. His expertise includes conducting physical due diligence and title verification across India for residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural land, and advising on acquisition, change of land use, and regulatory approvals.
Bhaskar has handled complex real estate projects involving townships, technology parks, hotels, SEZs and industrial developments, and has drafted and negotiated a wide range of transaction documents, including development agreements, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, joint venture agreements, and escrow arrangements. Bhaskar also advises on infrastructure projects in sectors such as power, telecommunications, roads, airports, and ports, including PPP models and regulatory frameworks.
Bhaskar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lucknow University and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. He is enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Delhi High Court Bar Association, and UP RERA Bar Association.
