Simrin has been practising in the Media and Entertainment (IPR), Real Estate, and General Commercial field of law since the year 2017.
As part of her Media and Entertainment (IPR) practice, she has done advisory work pertaining to applicable legal provisions, rights management etc. for various Audio Visual Content for theatre , OTT, Digital, Satellite and other Platforms. She also has expertise in documentation work involving drafting, revising and negotiating media related contracts end to end, she has handled various secondments with publishing houses, advertising agencies, marketing agencies etc. She is also actively involved in advising and executing end-to-end registration of Trademarks , Copyright and Design.
Under her Real Estate practise she has undertaken work of advisory and drafting of documents pertaining to Personal Law, various Conveyance documents, etc. She actively performs due diligence for various immovable properties and drafting of transactional documents for acquisition thereof, she is also engaged in the field of drafting and negotiating various Real Estate Documents for acquisition, transfer and license of immovable properties like Sale Deeds, Leave and License Agreements, Lease Deeds etc.
Over the years she has also acquired experience in commercial , real estate and media related litigation for which she has drafted notices and legal proceedings.
As part of her commercial law practise, she has been involved in advising clients in the healthcare sector with respect to technology, patents ,acquisition of assets etc. and has drafted transaction documents in respect thereof.
Prior to qualifying as a lawyer, Simrin has completed her Bachelors in Accounting & Finance.
